About Teacup Meadow, Handmade Floating Teacup Home Decor

Hi, I’m Louise, the maker behind Teacup Meadow, where I create handmade floating teacup home decor from my small UK studio.

For most of my life, I’ve worked in offices within the finance sector and more recently in charity shop retail, roles that taught me the value of organisation, community and finding beauty in the little things. As I approach my 50th birthday in 2026, I decided it was time to pursue something just for me, something creative that had been quietly calling for years.

Teacup Meadow was born from that moment of courage. Each floating teacup design I create is handmade, with its own theme, character and story. While I may revisit ideas and styles, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Every design is carefully made with attention to detail, balance and finish, and is intended to be enjoyed as distinctive home decor or given as a thoughtful gift.

Starting this journey has been bold and, at times, a little daunting, but it truly felt like now or never. Turning a long‑held creative dream into something real has been incredibly rewarding. Creating these handmade floating teacup designs brings me a great deal of joy, and my hope is that the care and happiness that goes into each piece is felt by the person who receives it.
